Fire on the Mountain Page 6
Collapsing in a heap beside Bobby, her muscles no more than rubber, she smiled. Johnny moved on the bed to lie beside her, pinning her between the two of them. Rose lifted her arms, then slid them beneath their necks, pulling her two men to her. Each man took one of her nipples into his mouth and suckled, sending waves of pure pleasure through every cell of her body. Smiling as she ran her fingers through their hair, Rose knew she would never need anyone other than these two men. Closing her eyes, she allowed herself to relax, no longer worried about anything.
Johnny Gayheart had been by her side for years, always there when she needed him. And now Bobby, her new savior, had come into her life at just the right time. With strong arms wrapped around her, she felt the heat began between them anew. It wasn’t long before the two men were ready for her again.
The fire on the mountain continued to blaze between them, one feeding on the other, until they were all three spent and they fell into a deep exhausted sleep. Rose didn’t dream, just slept the sleep of the satisfied and loved.
Later that night when they awoke, they showered together, washing each other’s backs and laughing. Rose couldn’t be happier, finally finding her place in this world. In her place was on the mountain, with these two men, and her moonshine still.

Fever in the Cabin (Wicked Mountain Tales -4) by Christelle Mirin
Katie Handshoe is heartbroken but trying not to show it. Aunt Tillie was gone but Katie had to be strong for Uncle Boone. They had raised her, treating her like their own child, and she thought of them as her parents.
Katie’s Aunt had had a stroke, hospitalized for three days before passing on. That’s where Katie met Dr. Jack Weldon. When her eyes met his, it had been like a jolt of electricity. And it was that night the strange dreams had begun. It was like a connection of some sort between them every time they met and it grew stronger by the day.
And stranger.
When the gallery that sold Katie’s paintings calls to tell her a man has just purchased one for ten thousand dollars, the dreams become even more detailed, darker and more erotic. The man wants to meet her. His name is Shay Tremain and he won’t take no for an answer. He’s flying in just to meet the artist and wants to commission a special painting.
Katie begins to feel there’s something wrong, as if something is coming. She wakes from the dream now in a fever, her cabin like a sauna even though the air conditioning is on. And when she wakes, it’s always with an aching need for the touch of a man. Two men, actually. One a stranger. One a doctor.
What do these erotic dreams mean and what do these two men mean to her?
The sense of something coming to fruition is giving Katie a fever only Shay and Jack will be able to break, a fever in the cabin…
